Here are tomorrows departures from DTW. And it's not even summer when it Europe really ramps up.

DTW-ICN
DTW-NGO
DTW-LHR
DTW-AMS x 3
DTW-CDG x 2
DTW-FRA
DTW-HND

Delta only has one CDG flight. The other is Air France. I do agree though. United wishes they had the domestic market we have and Vice Versa. However, most of Deltas growth in the future will be widebody and with global scope it will only get bigger. Keep in mind that next summer will be the second summer post covid. Patience my friends. Give it time.

Correct, GH today specifically said intl will be the focus going forward. I don’t expect UAL type moves, but we will be expanding and growling overseas.

Still, the A350 is physically larger than the 787; the Delta One suite is not lacking in terms of space. The 350 also has the same low cabin altitude pressurization and higher humidity as the 787. Your friends may prefer the United product and the 787, but thats anecdotal.

A350 to 787 is apples to oranges. The A350 can seat 3-4-3 in the back now, the 787 can only do 3-3-3. So yeah, 3-3-3 on an A350 would absolutely be more comfortable than 3-3-3 on a 787, and 2-4-2 on a 787 would absolutely be more comfortable than 3-3 on a 757.

No kidding. I don't get the 787 lust, especially if it all pays the same. I think the 350 looks better, especially the 1000

That's because you've never looked at the 350 without eyeliner. The 787 looks fine without eyeliner but you take the eyeliner off of the 350 and you end up with a face that only a blind dude could love. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4903/...2c2d2736_b.jpg

the reaction is typical FOMO. Just like with our AIP, United guys/gals were drooling over our deal. Now it seems we are drooling over their international flying/airplanes. Give it time, people. I guarantee by the summer we will have some type of order in and more international destiantions.

Pull up the United route map and then pull up our route map and be ready to cry.

Outside of the 30x CDG/AMS/LHR flights each day we're nothing but a regional airline that feeds AF/KL/VS.

Don't tell Delta but I have been flying to a lot of other places!

I’m sure there are others.

Plus all the summer destinations you don’t have listed.

UA has a larger WB fleet, that’s not in dispute, but we do more than most think.

And we should do more. Hopefully the global scope provisions address this.

You missed it because we didn't have those departures yesterday as they're less than daily. My post literally said "today".

Per Delta's definition GRU, LIM, EZE are considered TATL trips. Also, no, i'm not missing any. My post said "How many TATL and Pacific flights do we have TODAY systemwide outside of LHR, AMS, and CDG"

Ok yes...this is the only one I did mis. I literally went and used rotation filtering to pull up all the TATL rotation on icrew from all the bases for yesterday so I know I didn't "miss a bunch" as others have posted. But this one I did miss.
