And again, I will tell you to look at the deferred implementation schedule. No real QOL items happen until AFTER this summer, and even then there are a few that are a year or more away. Look I know this is gonna pass, but it ain't the great deal some are making it out to be. This summer = last summer. Change my mind.
Starts on 1 Jan 23. You get 18-23% additional money into your 401k

Three little birds come to mind. I expect it to be very similar, but far more lucrative. There are worse ways the summer could play out. All good things come to those who wait - just stick around for a few more years and every little thing gonna be alright ;-)

Nope. Nice try, but that's a sales job. Sorry. It is not an increase to rate of contribution.

I know this is kinda a backhanded compliment/insult

But like I said, dtsl and a few others, make me want to lose my ever loving mind also.
With two decades left, I actually don’t think retirement “could have been worse”, I think it’s very strong - for me. Anyone who will be here for some duration who has done the math on DC changes knows retirement was not ignored. I understand it’s too little too late for many. Sadly for them, that ship sailed with c12 and c15.

Anyway, keep the complisults rolling :-)

And buying a car is only about the monthly payment, right?

Nobody pays for medical bills or hookers or blow with rates of contribution. The contribution is what matters in the end - however you increase it.

Almost, but sadly that ship sailed when 100% of Delta Pilots had a DB and we voted not to fight the termination via LOA 51 in 2005. At that point it was Game over - Mullen/Grinstein dropped the big One.

I guess I could just work more and accomplish the same thing, right?

Wow, are ya'll for real?

So by your standard, profit sharing is compensation as well? Just want to be clear on that.

Bruh, do you not read what facts be spilling here? It’s almost like you willfully are being disingenuous with the coverage ladder examples on god, no cap. This contract is lit
