Is this true? I don’t understand how it could be true when looking at my category. The staffing is horrendous right now, most days end with 0 reserves. This summer will be a green slip all you can fly fest in my category.

For the record, I am well aware that the vast majority of guys I have flown with have been solid dudes, but the few angry ones are loud. I wanna learn from them and be better but it's hard to look up to someone blaming me for things I wasn't even around for when they happened.

That's what my ALPA app shows when I look at my category and overall company seniority. I don't think they would have any incentive to manipulate numbers to show better staffing since being short staffed is technically leverage on our side.

What comes around goes around......and kharma and all that stuff that Lennon sang about. (He was in a band called the Beatles....you'll have to stop listening to Taylor Swift of BTS and do some digging )

I asked an A in cruise his opinion on the TA, hoping to get some objective criticism. Boy was I disappointed. He started ranting (angrily) about how he had to sacrifice our pension to "save our profession" and how he feels betrayed by the fact that most junior pilots are for this TA. I quote " If I had known they'd be so ungrateful for my sacrifice, I would've voted to furlough all of them during Covid".

And again, I will tell you to look at the deferred implementation schedule. No real QOL items happen until AFTER this summer, and even then there are a few that are a year or more away. Look I know this is gonna pass, but it ain't the great deal some are making it out to be. This summer = last summer. Change my mind.

Edit, was beat to it, I need to pay attention to what page I’m on. And before someone talks about % and DOS +1, more $$ going in is more $$
