Hey all
I started a FB page called Pilots for Age 67. All are welcome to join. Senator Lindsey Graham has written the legislation. We are trying to help it along. There is also another group called Raise The Age who are very organized.

I am all for age 67. Those hired the day after the legislation passes, can go to age 67. Those of us who were already boned hard by age 65 and are presently employed, can go to age 65. Anything other than that is unadulterated greed and it is intended for some guys to get more at the expense of others.

Back then, pilots retired 3-5 years early (55-57), instead of wanting to push to fly longer.

FWIW. When the resolution at the ALPA BOD in 2012 to oppose change of age 65 was presented, it passed unanimously as I recall.I imagine since the demographics have changed since, there would be even less line pilots that were in favor of moving the age than before. That doesn’t mean you won’t find somebody in congress like LG to support it, but I doubt it could pass as a stand alone bill as long as there is a Dem Pres and Senate,
