M+ required a 69 slide deck of CQ for training, then required 6-9 weeks of fumbling around in the app for OJT, and then a FAQ put out by the EFB team listing best practices and work arounds (day/night).
OakNotes was made by a line pilot and was intuitive to use right out the gate....not distance learning, no FAQ, no work arounds....it was simple and it worked.

Come on Man! All those dip sticks on the 4th floor need non-flying job too! Let a male FA design our iPad apps!
They know what we need!
Oh, and if you hate M+, you’re going to hate the A350 flight planning, which is basically the same crap!

I get your point but Philly fans are in their own category. One summer I hit every National League park and the only place I’d never go back was Philly.

Lots of good changes coming to Mission+ in the update next month

All Oaknotes did was pull information from Mission+. There is no way for Delta safety systems to track transfer and more importantly, make sure the transfer is sending valid information. The Home page of Mission+ is highly customizable. It can be coded to look like Oak Notes and everyone will be happy.

And put in a useable display that was intuitive out the gate and didn't require 69 pages of CQ to "learn"
JB made a shortcut that pulled date from M+ and generated something that looks just like the HTML with hyperlinks.
The shortcut is literally searching M+ and copy/pasting data, just displaying it in a much more user friendly UI....it's not rocket surgery.
The fact that M+ needed a day/night work around in Version 1 is in-excusable for a Fortune 100 company in this day and age and speaks volumes

But it's a moo point. We have no control. Hopefully, the company and ALPA can convince Navblue to customize M+ to emulate Oaknotes. What I heard from the townhall was that the next update was mostly backend and bug fixes. The cosmetic overhaul changes will come closer to the end of the year.
