Well, he volunteered to do union work(thereby making him a volunteer wannabe) until he got turned down. maybe that accounts for some of the butthurt?

Good for them? I do a lot more as an LCP than just the bare minimum. Doesn't make me a volunteer.
Either you are both volunteers, or no? |

Honestly guy, you’re so full of it. You kill your own credibility because you so clearly post emotionally-driven tripe and don’t even have the facts. When was the last time YOU volunteered to do anything with ALPA?
When faced with actual facts, he simply ignores those posts and moves to another topic to screech about. He’s a bad faith poster and the fact that he’s a LCA is pathetic and embarrassing for this airline. Claims to be a LCA on the A350 but supposedly lives in a house one step above a trailer that nobody here would ever think about living in. Clearly there’s something wrong with this guy, and I just hope one day he gets whatever help he needs. Until then, it’s pointless to respond to his impotent rants. |
Y'all are a blast.

This line of reasoning cracks me up. Aren't reps supposed to represent their individual council? If their Council voted 80% + in favor and they voted no, did they represent their councils will??? I mean the overall percentage worked out (by coincidence) but so what.

I'm a paid volunteer. Delta paid me a few years back to do EAA young eagles rides. The choice to work in an office in ATL is what I question. You couldn't pay me enough.

With the benefit of hind sight, but then why have an MEC? Or all votes could be roll call so they get the percentages right based on polling.

Isn't that exactly what they did regarding at least one of the inviolable 'pillars'?
