#4 in FLL (largest of the legacies)

Look, I’d love to have a FL base for my friends living there (just as I would for my BOS friends or a TX base for my TX friends). But as long as they have Mecca just up the road, I don’t see what would motivate the company to open one.

They love the ability to fly different fleets into all the different locations.

The reason can’t be “it’s Florida and everyone else has one there”.
The reason to open a Florida base is to give management an opportunity to make the pilots suffer. Everyone knows it’s a malaria filled swamp tormented by loony “Florida men”. Who would want to be based there?
