Are they inventing one for scratch?

God forbid just find one publicly available and put a widget on it.

So how do you wear test the new garments? Just wear them for a few trips? What is being done? I'm genuinely curious.

They've been wear testing them for at least 6 months or more.

Ok, but what kind of input do they have? Design or redesign input? Materials, button style and placement? Has anything changed since they first started?

I haven't seen anyone wearing a different uniform, have you? Anybody? Probably an ATL thing but are they out in the operation?

Testers are not in charge of the program, ATL office dwellers are. Give a MSP 320 FO control of the outer garment and we'd have a solution by the end of the week.

Do Testers come before or after the Tiger Team?

I know they made a few changes to the jackets based on feedback and testers already. They moved the "ghost" buttons on the double breasted off the nipples, changed the slit in the back, and the liner to include some internal pockets at least. I'm sure there are many others, but have no idea who to ask other than a shotgun question on skynet.

I totally understand taking some time to get that kind of feedback, and it taking half a year or more to get that right, tested, second round of feedback, etc.

What is unbelievable is the second tier changes, the actual functional ones like an outer jacket to solve the "Northface" problem, not being ready for this winter. Unsat. It's like the office responsible can only handle one thing at a time.

Not that I will ever wear the stupid hat again - but PB did say there would be a new "commuter friendly" hat. Has anyone seen a prototype of said hat?

Did a Uniform fitting today between block in and commute flight. Took 10 minutes. The double breasted actually wears/feels almost like a single breasted. Our current jackets you bottom 3 buttons. New one you just do the bottom 2 (which was weird putting on at first) and that top one is not used. I was pleasantly surprised.

color wise, I was wearing my current uniform pants…. I couldn’t see any color difference, at least not in crew outfitters lighting. I don’t think anyone will know, unless yours are pleated as I did not see that as an option.
