It wouldn't take a good lawfirm much to deduce it - posting on an airline pilot forum, titled "Delta" and with post history clearly indicating you are a pilot for said air line, would be more than sufficient. Unless the judge thinks otherwise for the case and demands more. I'm just saying let's don't give the other team any more than we have already.
Folks on the 4th floor have more important things to do than chase down anonymous posters talking shop on APC unless there was an extremely concerning post.

I hope you don't come across in real life as you do on APC otherwise I imagine the list of FOs that have you on their no fly list is quite long.

I can tell you for absolute fact this is not true. Don’t think for one second the company doesn’t monitor these boards, nor that they haven’t called people into the CPO.

I’ve no idea if this is accurate, but it certainly seems reasonable.

APC mostly “Sound and fury, signifying nothing,”

(Thank god)

Those folks have a million meetings a day, reports to run, phone constantly ringing, and routinely work long hours. They are not calling people into the CPO unless it’s really bad.

While that would make sense, it depends on the rationality of the individual CPO.

I believe Fangs has mentioned in the past he has personal history with this and I have no reason to doubt him.

Correct. It was nowhere near “really bad”. I’d be happy to give the full story in a PM if interested. Centered around a discussion here about Personal Drops and what was legal by the PWA. Absolutely nothing happened to me after my ALPA rep-attended meeting with the CPO. Not even a slap on the wrist. That’s how “bad” it was.

Don’t think they aren’t monitoring. They are. Fact.

I personally know 2 Delta pilots who were placed on administrative leave pending outcomes of investigations into their social media postings. One nearly lost their job.

I didn't know about Fangs, but I believe him. Our company is very concerned about brand image. They have a robust SM operation. All I'm saying is please be cautious about posting on incidents before the investigations are completed. It's interesting to speculate, we are curious creatures and as pilots wired to be inquisitive. In these cases patience wins the day.

There’s obviously no one assigned to sit in the GO, read all the boards, and figure out who people are. But people there and in the CPOs read things, even if it’s just in their down time. And once someone gets a hair across their rear end, it’s not hard to figure out who people are. It’s not uncommon for pilots to receive counseling or discipline for things they post on FB, so is it really such a stretch that the company would have the same behavior towards people here?
