Between age 67 and 6 month captains flying 767s through hail, it begs the question, has anyone had to take the airplane from the CA?
I had an incident a few days ago where the CA decided to click off the a/t in gusty conditions, vref was around -10 kts at ‘50 feet, resulting in a near tail strike.

when he is not responding to my "strong suggestions" and/or I think he has some sort of medical event impacting his mental or physical status, in the middle of a dynamic and rapidly changing situation.
cruise flight in VMC is different than intercepting the approach course to an airport at minimums or the takeoff roll as he drifts off centerline and refuses to say "checked" when I call 80 knots

Lose your job? Don't be dramatic. You can't be fired for acting in the best interest of safety no matter how hurt the other person's ego. Additionally they can't use the CVR in this instance either.

Two words need to be used, if you are uncomfortable or deem continuing to land is a safety issue with no need to "take the airplane from the Captain" - GO AROUND.
