You flow guys have it all figured out. I guess you couldn't get hired anywhere else though.

Assuming this really happened and didn’t get back on target before touchdown did you discuss this with the captain after landing? You know, like a grownup? Or if it was a pattern did you consider mentioning it to Pro Stans? You know, like a professional?

Or was it easier and more fun to run tell it on the internet?

Pre-Delta. Was flying King Airs. Two piloted because the government contract required it. PIC had to be under 65. Cockpit age couldn't add up to more than 120.

I'm the PIC. Other guy isn't qualified. Aged out 121 Captain.

Unsafe approach. not going to land anywhere in the touchdown zone. Call for go-around. "NOPE".. What the **** you mean no? Go around (I add power, call my controls and go around.. We were gonna likely go off the runway) he had a horrible crosswind technique and we were near the max demonstrated crosswind and he was also completely ignorant of what redline is and what it means.

So while not taking the plane from the Captain, I took the plane from a guy who couldn't let go and accept he is no longer the captain. The whole flight he didn't do well not being in charge, and he had a reputation for that. Due to the cockpit age having to be under 120, he generally only flew with us younger guys.

Two words need to be used, if you are uncomfortable or deem continuing to land is a safety issue with no need to "take the airplane from the Captain" - GO AROUND.
His name continues to check out.

When your “I can’t get hired” complaints are prefaced with listing every single one of your “accomplishments,” maybe it’s time for a little introspection or at least enlist the thoughts of friends or previous co-pilots.

If you're going to make a troll post, at least make it a good one. Vref - 10 at 50 = near tail strike? Really? Do you even fly jets bro?

What's mom serving for lunch today?

On a 737-900 that would have me bracing for impact and a possible tail strike. Don't think I'd "take the plane" from a captain though..just say "airspeed, add power!!" or something like that.

I had an incident a few days ago where the CA decided to click off the a/t in gusty conditions, vref was around -10 kts at ‘50 feet, resulting in a near tail strike.

thoughts??
You must be from UND?

I mean, I've seen +/- 10 on a gusty day many times, but it doesn't automatically mean a tail strike, and sure as hell doesn't mean taking the jet from a captain. Worst case would be to call go around and talk about it later. But this Clown is just a troll in his mom's basement, and doesn't even deserve the attention he's gotten thus far from real pilots.

Lol wat? VREF -10 at with no correction would lead to a tail strike in the flare. Holy lol. I’m pretty sure speed deviations lead to excessive pitch in the flare.

I called speed, speed. CA corrected but it was the worse landing I’ve ever seen..
