I think this falls under “Check your privilege”. Should fall within Delta’s core values.

It’s a loophole until the arbitrator says it’s not.

Doubtful. FDP starts at report time (arrival at airport); no way company wants that….

Ahem. That’s “Mister Christ” to you. Show some respect.

No. FDP starts at report time as defined by the contract/rotation. If you get to the airport 20 minutes early, you do not get to call and have your FDP adjusted.

True so long as the van time is based on an appropriate time. If they pad the van time to account for TSA, that goes on the FDP side of the ledger.

No, actually it doesn't. Local transportation doesn't count against FDP. CB is right on this one. It's based on the scheduled FDP on the rotation. The Manhattan, Chicago, LA, and Bay Area hotels with their long van times are a great example. They'll make the pickup times an hour before report time everywhere vs. the current 15-30 minutes and let everyone get there early.

Yep. And additionally, if flights started getting delayed because people weren't clearing security as they had in the past, the company would just assume it was because of traffic, not a KCM protest.
