0 SCs

To add another data point. I had 1 SC in August and 3 in September. This month, I used some IVDs's, then caught a bug and was out sick, so that could skew things a bit. But we had many days with LOTS of people on SC that historically wouldn't have made sense. So if this trend continues, I tend to agree that we'll see higher SC usage. Fine by me as it's mostly just been a free extra hour of pay. The next contract needs to up it though, it clearly isn't deterring them from using them liberally.

RE: short calls - May used 1/2, June 1/1, July 1/1, August 1/1 September 1/4

RE: wage theft - still pi$$ed, vent/rant was therapeutic (the targeting was a good distraction) and surveys are useless. I have never wasted my time on them.

I submitted a case earlier this week for the exact same thing. EDP not paid on 23G5 trip removal. I received the opposite response. CS said EDP only paid if rotation flown. To the ACE app I go....

Apologies for being dumb. I’ve read all the emails sent out. But just done I’m clear, if I called in sick, and they took EDP away, I should call and have them put it back? Is that correct, because I like money?

That is correct. The only rig that doesn’t translate to a sick call is holiday pay.

CS likes to say a lot of things lately. The only thing that doesn’t pay is Holiday Pay. See latest scheduling alert on rotation guarantee.

It is worth noting, Scheduling Alerts (and the SRH) are vetted though the company, and are just as binding and quotable as the PWA.

An update on how badly soft pay sucks: just arrived for our turn to a delayed inbound aircraft. The soft pay changes my income by >$700 gross. No chasing necessary, it’s already on the time card.

soft pay sucks.

Only 4 1/2 months behind now. I appreciate the work the reps are doing, but this is getting ridiculous. I have multiple issues from summer that need resolved. Yes I reached out to scheduling to no avail. There needs to be a better way.
