As long as Rep Nehls is in office, until 350A bro retires, there will always be at least one person trying to push age 67 any way he can.

If there is full R control of the government in the next few years I wouldn’t be at all surprised by a push for the standalone LEPF bill. That would put the major CEOs in the awkward position of being forced to take a stronger/more public stance against it (unless ICAO has done something).

And will have had ~41 years on the seniority list. The average newhire since 2014, will have what, at least a decade less?

If my new hire class and the one on either side of mine was any indication, 25-30 at most for the median third of the class. Yes, we had a 24 year old outlier on one side, and a handful of around 30ish people out of 60, but the bulk of us were 40-ish. Guys who retired from Active Duty were 42-50. (I was 39, turned 40 in indoc)

And was hired at the ripe old age of 24ish. Talk about pulling the ladder up behind you.

Anyone who does that in front of national media willingly has no shame. That type of behavior in other circles could be considered "spectrum" behavior.

Agree with the first, but you are letting him off easy with the second. Selfish greed can overwhelm common sense.

I can at least understand and respect the ones who enjoy this job and paycheck, and simply want to keep going (and admit it). Just as we all do, they have the right to engage their elected leaders and have their voice heard... This is America, and that's fine.

What I cannot respect are the ones who actually think they are entitled to it. They deserve it after the 4th pillar was "thrown under the bus". It's a persecution complex for some. And, anyone who is a party to that lawsuit against ALPA for the laughable reason of "failure to represent" is dead to me. That crossed a line, and I hope the judge dismisses it with prejudice, and awards attorney's fees to ALPA.

my bet, you wouldn’t say anything. You’re probably a more behind the back guy while trying to impress the flight attendants. It was cringy though, must admit. Let us know when you have said something to him.
