Default Latest MiCrew Update

Has anyone seen the latest MiCrew update? They finally incorporated a quasi-normal calendar view of OT...but somehow thought it was a good idea to revert to iCrew's one page at a time format and you now have to page thru instead of just scrolling the entire month. I know, no end to pilot complaining...but do they ever ask anyone that has to use this stuff before implementing changes?

It does seem to have a few other improvements but I was hoping for a way to see the EDP, SIT, etc. for trips but didn't notice that, maybe I just missed it.

Blue, hope you don't mind I moved this to its own thread as I think this warrants its own discussion.

I'm resisting the urge to be the angry old man who hates change, but this isn't a great update. Hopefully there are lots of updates to follow.

It does have a calendar view, which I like, though I'd rather see it show the entire month like iCrewmax did. But when I switch to the calendar view and I click on a rotation, it says "this rotatation overlaps your currently assigned rotation." But I don't have any rotation or even a reserve day, it's an X-day.

Ugh...I miss iCrewmax!

I talked to a fellow back a few years who was a program developer kind of in his spare time. Had done a few things on the NWA side.

He said he got his project approved right up until some VP level, and then it got stopped cold.

Since the demise of FDS, I wouldn’t expect any more 3rd party programs.

Agreed. I think the word was they shut it down due to "security" issues. I'm sure some management type didn't like that someone developed something better than they had and was profiting from it, so they had it shut down.

Guys over on the faceplace are saying they had to delete and reinstall it multiple times to get it to work. I think someone said they had to delete and reinstall the hub app as well, but I'm not certain on that. I didn't want mine to update but it did automatically unfortunately. It also auto updated on my iPad.

I'm thinking if you don't have the hub app on your phone the app should not update. I'm currently testing this theory and it's still the old version. I deleted the hub app anyways after I installed micrew because I felt the hub invaded personal device privacy. Bwdik

Even with the Hub app installed, the app will not update on its own. You have to manually update MiCrew (and Fight Family, if installed) within Hub.
