If you’re referring to suit up pay that’s toward guarantee. I had a 4 day that no-oped once where the captain and I were both on GS. He got 6 grand for the trouble of driving down to Sea-Tac for the day, while I got 2 hours toward a reserve guarantee I never hit, so $0.00 to be exact. When factoring in gas costs, I lost money for the day

He’s referencing 4.H.4. New provision of suit up pay where you get 2 hour pay, no credit if you report for a GS/IA on X days

Emphasis on new contract. While it’s not nothing, 2 hours of pay is a pittance compared to the protection Regular pilots have for the exact same trip/scenario.

As a longtime reserve bidder, this has long been on my wish list to get ‘fixed’ in negotiations, simply to treat all trips the same once they touch your schedule.

FWIW I’ve heard discussions about how rotation guarantee for RES is a priority for the next contract.

Let's just hope the "reserve is temporary" types don't get ahold of this...

Glad to hear it! Also did not know about the new suit up pay, must have missed that.
