It's interesting because in the little crew resources blurb they say that 737 block ours are less in September than August. Which probably means ALV is higher due to more vacations in September or they're just trying to bump it up to be in compliance with TLV.

I don’t think it’s TLV. I’ll have to look but I think it could have been 72 and still been in TLV compliance.

August was 72ish, September is 77ish. Maybe it’s that extra day in September bid period, but either way, I don’t think we will be overstaffed anytime soon

United was suppose to be hiring 2,500+ in 2024 and 2025, and every year thereafter. It hasn’t happened and won’t happen. 30,000 pilots over there by 2030 remember?

Typical over-promise under deliver strategy. They’ll end the year with ~1,000 and maybe ~1,500 or less in 2026

They also promised supersonic and all-electric planes by 2026.

Daggum, all I want to do is move from the 73 to the 320 in the same base. Can y'all convince your top men to do... anything, with the AE's?

Shhhhhhhh

Don't listen to hockeypilot, especially if you're senior to me.

Yoke bad, tray table good! Leave the 73 without hesitation!

73 looking like the gloriously dying days of the MadDog. Can’t remember a jet without at least one MEL on it. Wait….yes I do. Of course we had 2 mechanicals on that leg. Granted the screw in the tire after landing was just bad luck.
