Too bad he's still on probation.

He's not in probation but he's barely old enough to rent a car, already made the awful decision to leave United for Delta but only because it's a "better airline" and probably thinks his fortune is actually a testament of his skill/aptitude and not because he was in the right place at the right time during the biggest shortage in our history

I was exaggerating a bit, but you're spot on. I'd be drinking the copium too if I were him. If he's not on probation, it's because he's barely off. Wasn't even alive during 9/11 but thinks he has perspective lol

Yes sir you got it! Watching ya’ll waste this much banter on me is great And ya’ll call me the child.. Guess you can’t echo anything in here other than then the majority belief. You know how many “this is the end of Delta” stories I’ve heard of from old guys and Delta comes out on top in the industry and the pilot group? Acting like this is a -permanent- downhill trend is crazy when it happens like clockwork every few years. Up and down, up and down..

As long as Delta keeps ending the year as #1 in profits with the gap widening from #2 and #3 I’m happy. That’s exactly what’s gonna keep on happening.
If that’s legitimately what keeps you happy, then I can’t wait to read your posts in another 5-15 years.

There aren’t many on here who would describe their entire career as a “living hell”. But any airline career, over a span of decades, WILL have ups and downs.

So far your perspective is limited to the absolute best years of Delta’s history, as well as the absolute best years of career movement for pilots. Neither will last, and blindly assuming otherwise is a fool’s errand.

Best time in Delta’s history and best movement? I agree. But most of ya’ll still manage to act completely miserable even at the best of times. That’s what I hate. There is nothing that Delta could ever do that would make anyone of ya’ll content. That’s an issue with the older generation. All see in red.

And, the majority of ya’ll would call your career a living hell. Doesn’t take long see scroll through all the negativity ya’ll spew on here.

Who’s saying we’re miserable?

Skeptical of management and the direction that Delta’s operation is currently heading — absolutely. But that doesn’t equate to misery. There’s more to life than this job.

Of the few people I’ve met who would call their career a “living hell”, almost all began with lofty expectations. I’ve never seen expectations any more lofty or unrealistic than yours.

You sure do say "y'all" a lot to not even know how to spell it. Must be that iPad education. And the copium must be from all those participation awards.

99% of the rhetoric on here is negative. Ya’ll don’t call the wins and praise the company when things are well. Each one of you will attempt to dig through a steel wall to find something to complain about before you start praise. That’s the hypocrisy.
