Let's hope SEA 350 is now staffed and we start seeing some 350 vacancies in LAX, ATL and DTW.
I was anticipating them skipping the normal February AE bids and going straight to March assignments. OR- I got ahead of myself and forgot we’re still in January (!).

yes to more vacancies in lax, Atl, and dtw. And also more nba backfills please - the pin action isn’t nearly as exciting with monthly bids

February is a short month, any guess if we’ll see the AE tomorrow?

Possibly. My guess is Tuesday, with a Friday close.

Last month's publishing on a Sunday was a curveball, so anything's possible.

Absolutely Huge AE by monthly standards. I went back, and it's the largest monthly vacancy total ever. And it's roughly double of any AE in 2024 or 2025. Even 2023 topped out at 600ish, with this AE at over 800. With a metric ton of NB B vacancies, almost 500 of them. Makes me think the rumors of ramping up rapidly to 1800 NH's this year is valid. Lots of 73N and 320's will go to Feb-March NH's, moderate numbers of 7ER, 220, and small numbers of 717. Still no DTW 717 A vacancies, further bolstering the likely slow draw-down of that category.

Also 180 NB A's posted, after 2 decent NB A AE's. The WB A's are slightly higher, which may drive both those %'s more junior for this AE. Exciting times...

It's been a long time since we've seen 568 B positions in one bid. I agree, it's a passive aggressive way of saying "we screwed up."

I agree; this aligns with the hiring of 1,800 to 2,000 NH this year.

Man this is a mini Moab. I can only imagine what the next AEs will look like in the next few years, after we onboard new jets (not to jinx’s but I made almost an identical post in 2019 so…).

now the question becomes will we see another one before summer? if not, they will be doing the typical "we must protect the summer operation by pausing all training until September." If that happens, it'll be hard to hit 1500+ this year.

They told sim instructors they will be doing initial qual training this summer unlike previous years. We will see if that holds true.
