Regarding SLC350 and/or NYC350 the velvet document that was taken down mentioned an SLC350 base in 2026 and “also, beginning more Asia out of jfk” beyond Seoul. If jfk-icn was launching this summer it likely would have been already announced so that I see starting in the fall or spring 2027 at earliest. If SLC350 opens in 2026 cdg or ams would get the a350 to pair with SLC-icn. If the rumored 787 order includes any 787-9s routes like SLC-icn would be more suited for the 787-9 than a350. If NYC350 opens upon jfk-icn launch it would likely put a350s on jfk-tlv or possibly restart India or even start Abu Dhabi out of JFK. While delta did announce intentions to do atl-del things can change. MSP has a350s to HND/ICN/AMS/DTW yet MSP350 doesn’t get as much discussion/speculation as SLC/NYC350.

Traditionally Crew Resources wants 3 daily WB departures before even considering a new category. NYC had 6 330's before that category was established. Since there has never been a Delta 350 at JFK, don't hold your breath.

1) What BOS NB on said Velvet document?

2) where was it posted? On DLNet somewhere? Any copies floating around?

I’ve seen a DL 350 in JFK once, maybe twice.

Probably a divert, or maybe a domestic turn to get some productivity out of the ship.

I know one or two of them had to make unplanned fuel stops in places like BOS or JFK when coming back from Africa.
