Happens all the time. I've had a 4 day block going into golden days where they pre post rest beginning at 6am on my last LC day, and a 3 day that I would be perfectly legal for if it weren't for the rest comes into open time but they send it to GS instead because they are too swamped to realize they could just manually remove my rest. It's hard to really feel sorry for them when they constantly do things like that.

The 8.9 isn’t because people didn’t had all hands on deck. It’s because there’s not enough hands to keep the deck.

They just have to hire enough to keep reserve staffed and use them as intended.
Mannnn, my fat fingers. 8.9. Not 9.8. Thanks for all you do. Thanks for helping us celebrate 96 years.

I don't personally believe any Delta pilot who, after considering schedules, lifestyle, salary, commuting, or destinations would give a flying fig about who built the airplane.

Might be wrong though. Not going to die on this hill.

It would be like refusing an Uber because the car wasn't built in Country X.

Type of flying aside, I dont really care about the builder, I just want a plane with a comfortable cockpit. Airbus has that won by a long shot.

Seeing it from the inside over the last few years is like watching the NFL or NCAA, then going to a high school football game. It's less predictable and more interesting to watch. Lots of questions about the play calling and who gets the ball. Let's hope the pressure of the century is behind us and we can shift from fake celebration to air line operation.
