Right. They would rather work for a living by doing circadian swaps and redeyes.

It's absurd to think that anyone is making a life change based on a thing that changed less than a month ago. I'd be willing to be there are a significant number of WBB that don't even know anything has changed yet. Either way, there is probably still hope for a grievance or a resolution in section 6 that would make moving on the very next AE an overreaction.

Why is there such a massive increase in DTW 320B on this AE? Currently 324 and projected to be 442 in August 2026. That is a huge jump. Meanwhile MSP 320B seems to be rapidly shrinking...

Look again at the WBA not NBA numbers. The pilots crushing it with banked PB days as WBB have WBA seniority, they aren't going NBA. Jan and Feb mid AE had 21-22% of the WBA coming from WBB. March mid AE had over 26% WBA coming from WBB. The percentage of WBB to WBA in the west coast is even higher concentration coming from WBB where PB values used to be in the teens. I would expect less of the shift in the northeast because banked PB days topped out around 9-12 hours.

My guess is DTW is going to be taking on more of the NYC flying. “Detroit Michigan is in the Eastern Timezone.” Their crews don’t run into the same duty day issues that MSP crews do when they head east to start a trip. I’ve spoken to some people who know some 4th floor types that say a crew that starts in Eastern time can get 3 legs in on day 1 while MSP crews end up being only good for 2 on average. I also think you’ll see the old 320s and 19s take on some of the 717 flying as that begins to shrink as everyone has forecasted with the AD. Plus. MSP just got the 220. I’m sure there’s going to be a little bit of balancing that occurs. Yes. MSP just lost 3 737 captains with no backfills. But it also just gained 40 more 220 captains… I’m sure the preponderance of vacancies is a way to force new hires into these spots.

Bid for these things in iCrew.

Okay so I F'ed up. I didn't see where to put these things in at the time of putting in my bid. Is there anyway to bid sim slots and training timing preference AFTER the bid closes? No wonder I couldn't find it this morning when I looked. Just another reason why I LOATHE iCrew. Window pops up after the AE bid asking about PVAC, VAC, etc, asking if you want a hotel, or time off before, etc.....But NOTHING about conversion days or sim slots. If you want that, dig another 15 layers deep using random F keys.

Those that have, and those that will.

The AE letter that the company puts out has an entire paragraph on both 22H and 22I....bullets 8 and 9 in the March AE memo.

It doesn't matter. They won't honor your preferences anyway. I don't even think the training scheduling people look at them. They don't honor seniority, either.
