Sinking ship my friend. It wasn't the right 10 who asked for it, so they didn't award. Going on 7+ months of many leaving and practically zero backfills. Isn't hard to read the tea leaves.

In the west coast categories where banked PB days took a bigger hit the number was 44% WBB to WBA. I'd say the war on PB days made a difference.

Would have been more if they backfilled.

I was not expecting to get what I bid for, but I'm very happy about it!

On the mock bid I was still 200 numbers from the most junior award of the upgrade I was bidding. I was thinking "oh cool maybe it'll happen sometime this year. Then BAM. On the final I got it and some people junior to me got it. I was not expecting this! Hell, until a week ago I was expecting 2027 at the earliest.

90% sure there’s only 1-2 hired at 25-26 in 2014. And 2-3 at 25-27 in 2015.

So no.

congrats! May you not regret your decision! I too took an early upgrade, however circumstances were different, I hope. Mine was on MD88. After improving seniority…. Then it went backwards as it was drawn down. I’d guess if your upgrade is on 717, you may experience the same. Anything else should be a good ride! Getting truly senior in a BES ruins you. If all you know is being jr, then being jr in the left seat is much better than being jr in right seat!

yeah…SEA 350B, 6 positions posted, but 4 bid in and 4 bid out, net zero. I find that interesting…who knows. Has company sentiment changed since the bid was posted until now?

Interesting. SEA 350A did get backfilled. Although it's a sure thing that a few of them will retire in a few more months. Those dang WBBs stay forever.
