Yep, from a few places. I think the embarrassment that was last year got alot of attention and now it’s damage control time. Good, bring em in and let’s get healthy again.

Let's get back to properly staffed. Everyone feels the strain from low staffing. Can only run it "a little too hot" for so long until people break (quit picking up OT, changing jobs, etc). Scheduling is currently there. Pilots aren't far behind. I am sure other departments are feeling it too.
We think Jan 26 results today?

Its not "airmanship" so much as a shift in expectations of automation. Saw the same thing at SkyWest when E-175 FOs upgraded to the CRJ. You're not a lesser pilot because now you have to get used to doing something the plane would do for you before

Heard something very similar. Apparently someone isn't happy with the M7/coverage costs. I'm guessing a MIP bonus took a hit. It could be why our hiring folks dropped out of the NGPA conference, maybe they needed all hands on deck at home.

Of course on the other paw they jacked NB ALV up to cover in Feb. You’d think they’d finally realize whipping the ponies to do more with less doesn’t work over a full year. It sure won’t work after a year of being told this will be the best year ever….and then told it was just ‘interesting’. All hands aren’t on deck anymore, not for 9.8%.
The 8.9 isn’t because people didn’t had all hands on deck. It’s because there’s not enough hands to keep the deck.
They just have to hire enough to keep reserve staffed and use them as intended.

It’s weird that we have threads with pilots posting how little they flew, how much flight pulse shows their block hours vs pay; then we have others that say we don’t have enough pilots, hire more reserves, quit running us so hot.
Maybe the problem is more complex?

Im not saying it is a problem, but there is definitely a layer of complexity
