It said they're not supposed to call to check on the pilots even once on a transcon. Pilots get last choice in meals. No big water bottles to pilots. Seatbelt sign should be on unless it's absolutely glass smooth. Anything else?

Oh yeah, and every flight is a SEAT flight.

Just give them the FWV and a temperature knob and be done with all the harassment!

Actually the opposite. They have been getting some very candidate feedback from HVCs about the lack of service with no perceived turbulence

The Seat Flight is kind of dated since we moved the sterile ding to 18,000 ft.

I just had DCLC where the instructor FA actually went on a little tangent about how much she disliked hearing about the lack of service. It's a post-covid hire thing, and it's definitely getting attention at the top levels finally.

You need someone to check on you if you have to pee? Luckily my fleet has a convenient button which allows me to call them and ask for whatever I might desire.

Tough guy!! Most airlines' procedures have the flight attendants check on the flight deck. Most good FAs here do it as well. However, the vast majority do not.

I've found there is a close correlation between good FA's and one's who bother to call and check if you need anything. It's not mutually exclusive, though. And while largely generational, again not exclusively so.

I always appreciate them calling and checking on us, even if I rarely need anything. JMO
