Seriously, what is the trick? My last GS was in September. When I get the calls for IA, the trip is usually already covered. If it’s not and I try to connect to scheduling immediately, I usually sit on hold until it’s covered and then hang up. Yesterday I got through after a few minutes to be told it was already covered. We gave out more IA/GS’s in December than any time in history and it was my lowest December credit wise ever. I tried to get premium and couldn’t. Am I only one? I notice the post 2015 hires are killing it.
Am I supposed to call as soon as I see trip in open time and ask scheduling if it’s in IA? Try to jump the phone call? Is that considered dealmaking because being honest is not working?

Is this the company's way of pitting the pilot group against each other to get rid of the 12 minute window for a GS? I don't see this process of skipping to IA going away until the company gets their way. Doesn't make sense for the trips that sit in open time all day though, I guess to them it's just part of the strong arming process. Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

The entire process is infuriating. Meanwhile I personally am losing out on $8-10k in earnings every month while being told this is a company problem.
It will eventually get fixed. This isn’t good for anyone. Hopefully quicks slips fixed our problem and ends the deal-making while leaving the company’s problem for leverage.
The fact that the company trying to come into sick leave compliance is encouraging. Quick slips need to be in effect also for that to happen, correct?
The MOU happened almost 2 months ago, but nothing has changed since.

The current situation is incredibly infuriating. There’s a small subset making serious bank the rest of us are locked out of.
