Subtle snark is a lost art. I can’t even figure out if my comment regarding the GTF was taken in the manner intended.

United’s MAX with their upgraded interior is 1% better in business class. Total nothingburger. Unless Delta puts lie flats in it, it will be unremarkable. The seats aren’t getting any wider in coach and the cushions are only getting more ‘slimline’. In any seat other than a business class seat, SWA is as comfortable.

There’s nothing premium about Delta. It’s just the least bad at what it does. And excellent marketing.

The MAX is much quieter than the NG. It's not as quiet as the 321Neo, but close. That plus a new interior is much better experience than most NG interiors even 5-10 years ago. If delta puts lay-flats in the MAX10, I'm sure it will be well received and considered more premium than the current 737 offering.

It's still quite a bit louder than the 321Neo. It's more premium than the NG, but it's still a dumpster from the 60s.
