You're recorded on cameras everywhere once you enter the airport. From the entrance thru security thru the terminals and jetbridges (most) to the ramps and airport taxiways and runways. That footage can be retrieved rather easily and is/has been used in the past in investigations. It's the world you enter once you come on to an airport property.

I’ve never felt unsafe on Virginia Ave. I’ve also never had a car there. Have we ever had a pilot get robbed or mugged walking from training center?
I do agree that the company should provide a safe parking lot for the vehicles of pilots that want to bring their cars.

Never say never. They can and they have used camera footage in the past for investigations and other such things. I replied to Herk (post#71), you can go read that.

Incorrect. We've had at least 3 over the years. One was definitely at the Holiday Inn North several years ago. The other at the Crowne, as you mention (believe crewdawg originally posted on here that a few years back). Also the Holiday Inn North would get robbed. We had some 88 guys there doing initial and CQ, a few of the crews were in the lobby restaurant. Dudes walked in and conducted an armed robbery right there. The front desk was not far (maybe 10 paces) from the lobby restaurant. We had several serious incidents over the years occur with our people at the Holiday Inn North, not just one, that's why we moved out of it.

Absolutely they did. Me and the other FO saw the pics ourselves. You can believe or not, but it's a solid fact they did and if you don't think they can't you'd be wrong.

People are saying that there’s absolutely no valid reason for anyone in the OCC to be texting photos from those feeds to a pilot. It was likely his friend in the OCC screwing around, which opens the question of why they were taking / sending photos of proprietary data.

Nobody is disputing that the company has access to surveillance cameras.

I never said that the Holiday Inn hasn’t had any criminal incidents. Those all happened well before the “last straw”, which was a bullet entering a pilot’s room at the Crowne Plaza. That incident is what it finally took for the company to terminate the Crowne Plaza / HI contracts, then make us safer by moving us a half mile down the road.
