I remember that, and for the guys who have no paycheck, just have your wives do two spa trips a month instead of 4. The dumpster diving reminders were easily the most memorable though.

Yep. Going to be interesting to see how the last half of the month goes for them with the PB days games they're playing.

I bid to maximize banked PB days before they unilaterally changed the rules.

I'm off the rest of month. (30/168 pumpkin after 6am tomorrow, and they'd have to have assigned me something already).

It would have to be a killer awesome trip that I'd white slip as a REG to get me off my behind to come in for a GS/QS. Like a 48hr layover in HNL and 2 legs. Maybe a Hockey charter out of EWR. Wait, scratch that, Devils, Rangers and Islanders are all out of the playoffs.

Yeah. Looks like a whole lot of FAFO is about to happen with Crew Scheduling. I used to pick up most any flaming garbage trip if it gave me banked PB days. Now? F that. I've retweaked my bid to "hear the delicate sound of thunder in the distance" (some days off I need, so won't fully roll thunder next month)

Unleash the dogs of war. This summer is gonna be interesting.

Did we F ourselves by having such a small ask for an opener under the assumption that we could get a deal done quickly?

Now if it gets dragged out and the company finally agrees to everything in our opener way down the road, a mediator would think the company is being reasonable.

Doubt it. I'm guessing that ask was predicated on a quick deal. If that ain't gonna happen, the ask changes.

Sounds kind of like maple syrup...the longer the distillation process, the more expensive it gets.

It is halfway through April. I just went through the entire TC for this month for ATL 717B. There have been exactly 6 trips picked up via ARCOS WS (W code on DTC). 2 of those were in the first day. If a trip isn't being covered by a reserve, then the company is paying double (not counting 23m7) to cover it. SS, GS, QS, and IA. 2 pilots got QS #5 today, and yesterday a pilot got a 4 day GS as G#4. Many SS sit fully soaked for days not picked up until they reach the manual TC window. There is no incentive for anyone to a bust their butt grabbing crappy bid packet trips when so many easier, broken trips are going out every single day for double pay.

Meanwhile in my NB A category, you have to have been hired in the last century to touch a SLV. Same guys who have 6-9 M7s already, getting all the silver lol.
