Not trying to pick a fight.

Many things scheduling/pay related on this forum are category-related. It's prudent to be relative. The post you quoted was category-related.

correct. Which is why some posters are tepid about altering the entire pwa for the entire pilot group just because a few posters in short-staffed categories don’t like aa.

This

Blanket statements like SS only go super senior are incorrect and do not represent the pilot group as a whole.

I said highly seat dependent. Read what I wrote.

but that also goes for the people that talk about premium being super easy to get and everyone can get multiple a month. Highly dependent.

I'm proud to be the exception to that statement. For my nine years of NBA, I did the walkaround on the FOs leg almost every time, with a few exceptions when there was something unusual that required more of my attention.

As a WBA, I still do the walkaround on the rare domestic legs, or if I am the relief captain on a 4-man trip. My spiel to my paired FO goes "if you make the bunk all nice and pretty, I'll do the exterior walkaround." It works out well, and gives me something to do.

True. I was more responding to the "spirit" of some earlier posts, though I didn't make myself very clear.
