300 is just the beginning. I know a few who made 500+. Heck, at the rate I'm averaging per month through April I'm on track for close to 500, and that's on the 717. 300+ takes a steady but not insane flow of premium trips, and right now premium trips seem to be flowing like milk and honey in many NBB categories. I have no data but I'd wager that this year, with 23m7, full steam on training/OE buyoffs, and critical short staffing, we will have a record number of FO's making 300, 400, and 500+. Unless of course oil dorks up everything and we do a big draw down in flying. In that case all bets are off.

Current 3-5 year NB FO's are almost certainly sub 50% in category (sub 20-30% in some categories) and can seriously flex their seniority muscles to achieve $300k+ on the easy premium happening this year. But when NB FO QS#7 is being awarded to senior before the middle of the month, being local in that category at any seniority (and having some personal schedule flexibility) can make bank.

at this current rate I could clear almost $400k this year. I’ll also be dead.

One thing I’ve learned personally as I’ve matured is that a part of being well-rounded emotionally is having the capacity to accept the generosity of others, even when I am not in any form of need. Many times the person being generous (in this case, by buying dinner) gets more satisfaction and enjoyment than the person receiving the generosity. Pushing back against someone trying to be generous robs them of some level of happiness brought by being generous. So in any normal situation I’ve learned to just graciously accept when someone wants to do a kind gesture for me, again even when I am not in any sort of want or need. Obviously there are limits, like I’m not going to let someone ruin their own financial life for my sake, but that’s not what anyone here is talking about.
