I know this is sarcasm, but I can vouch for the fact they are not the same person.

Yeah, like buying your coworkers drinks when they are literally just doing their job.😏

Do you tip the bartenders who pour your beer?

I buy the first officer beer if we’re having any together. If he/she says “thank you,” I’ll buy the next time. If not, I’m done buying them beer. To me, it’s just a small gesture of appreciation for making my job as captain as easy as possible.

It’s pretty simple. Having beers is pretty rare to begin with these days with the optimizer. If we do have some, it’s never more than 2 per person anyway. The tabs never more than $80 out the door. I usually get an appetizer too.

Even on the wb fleet, if capt invites, they always pay first round at a minimum. Most of the time, one of the capt would pay for bus driver tips for the whole crew as well.

Whoever on a gs always offer to pay van tips for the whole crew

Okay, you're forgiven for never doing walk arounds.

cb at least seems like you could hang out and talk surfing or sports or whatever and still get along. Oofff was all antagonism all the time with some axe to grind as if he was going to make a bunch of strangers see how foolish they are for disagreeing with his political worldview. Glad to hear he got a break - I was noticing that the pages seemed a little more civil lately and now know why

back on topic- Capt beer is the best beer. Always appreciate when he offers. Also have never once thought that coffee was somehow a domination play. That’s just weird.

Surfing? How dare you! You take that shark teasing death wish to a different bar.
