Yes, but only so they don't pee in it. Think about it, it takes them 30 seconds to pour your beer. Say you tip $1 for it. That's $120/hr. For filling a glass and handing it to you. Mixed drinks is a whole 'nother bag, that actually deserves a tip (usually).

The system will auto-ban you for excess active points and also exceeding some number of total infractions.

But again, I agree with the sentiment about stinginess on van drivers.

So to be clear, the dinner/beer hierarchy of gratitude ....
International Long-Haul:
1) Senior CA on a GS: Buys all dinners and beers (possibly for FA's too.)
2) Junior CA on a GS: Buys dinners and beers (possibly for FA's too.)
3) Senior FO on a GS: Buys beers.
4) Junior FO on a GS: Buys beers.
Domestic:
1) CA on a GS: Buys all dinners and beers.
2) FO on a GS: Buys beers.
In cases of no premium pay:
1) LCP (if installed) buys beers.
2) CA buys beers.
3) CA buys beers and dinner for new-hires (unless they don't tip the van driver.)
And lastly LCP on GSWC:
Buys dinner, beer and covers all tips for all crew and makes at least 1 car/mortgage payment for newhires.
