I dunno. What was the ROI on Comair?

Bad example.

I'm just saying to posture for negotiations, I would. Jepp has a monopoly that needs to be broken.

At CPZ, we have the EFBs and they are TERRIBLE. So bad that they deactivated them all. On top of the reliability problems, we had to use the NOS/NOAA (or whatever the gov't charts are called) alongside the Jepps while we were learning the EFBs.

So, hope for a 3rd/4th gen. EFB down the line. The current lot is the worst.

I would not leak it, if I knew it.

July 15th? Surprised you had to ask. We met three of the metrics for our Shared Rewards program in May and will receive $100 in our July 15th paycheck.

I'm saving for a new rug, or maybe some nail polish for Bunny Lebowski. Otherwise, I expect July 15th to come and go much like any other day. If it was good news, it would be announced on a Monday. If there were ugly, they save that for Friday after lunch when nobody reads the news. Hump day news is likely to be continued coverage of Jacko's untimely demise... well that, and $100.

If I was in negotiations with Boeing / Jepp my first step would be to file a press release that we are developing a competing product and assign some managers to a new division while making sure their business cards got left around the bars frequented by Jepp management. Once they were all taking blood pressure medication, I'd negotiate a deal.

Hey, alter ego works on pilots. Why not database vendors?
There is the LIDO company, believe they supply the info and its up to the individual company to print them...they have a CD set for the instructions. Don't think the return would justify giving up on Jeppesen, they do negotiate.

With all the flap, some were curious what a size 28 Red Dress might look like. I found one on EBay:

Size 28, red dress

Before people start making unkind comparisons to a yacht tonneau, tents, or having to take this thing out to the driveway to iron it, the AFA must figure they have this covered.

Any chance the dress thing is a red herring...to cast a bad light on AFA and to distract the membership from the positive aspects of the union, and to cast it into an unfavorable light?

LIDO is Lufthansa...

exactly like Bucking Bar suggested...

I'm guessing we are kneedeep into Jepps with Green pages and obstacle data and Jepps knows we cant abandon ship...

Cheers

Don't forget the AFA raised this issue. Now I'd bet the majority of Flight Attendants do not appreciate the attention the AFA has raised.

As long as the Flight Attendants get to me too on the Pilots' they get a pretty good deal.

Many have mentioned the green Cap "Tomato" image, but I think they have overlooked the Viking Goddess potential with this.
