KUDOS, and thanks to the 94% that voted for the betterment of the profession.
Disengagement is the biggest detriment to the profession. This shows that pilots are engaged in the process. So only 1 years and 9 months till the contract survey goes out... What's on everybody's wish lists?:D |

Folks, this business model is NOT sustainable for the pilot group. We have to stop giving our jobs away at some point! I bet it doesn't. The regional model isn't fixed, and DAL Inc. likely just reduced its reliance on that segment of the industry by 25% over the next three years. I say do it again in the next deal and drop the 450 DCI cap to the 350-300 hull range! |

A professional negotiating committee?
Ask the NC that were in the lounges, we got way more in a lot of areas than the company thought they would give. |

Until we all get MD'd to the B-717. I find it hard to believe that 94% of this pilot group voted on this TA.

This contract's duration is up right around the time retirements start picking up and the C-series model Delta wants, the C300, becomes available. This contract does not set a good precedence for that time frame.
The line is 76, I finally believe that is one etched in stone and not sand. I want sunsets and/or shrinkage in DCI again in 2 years and 9 months when openers are swapped again, and will direct my MEC accordingly. Hopefully you will flow soon and be part of the discussion when the time comes. |

Not to sound petulant, but what else would you expect our NC to say?
Wish you would have taken time to go to a roadshow or happen across an NC member during the lounge visit days. I learned A LOT that I had no idea about. The MEC elected the NC members TWICE, UNANIMOUSLY, both times; it leads me to believe that the four gentlemen were extremely capable and also possess integrity. YMMV |
