Doesn't say anything about parking other mainline aircraft as those 88 come on board. Would have been nice if someone had thought to put that in the TA, wouldn't it?

What is the minimum ratio of MBH to DBH, Alex

Doesn't matter. ALPA does not actually use the survey. I'll never waste my time filling out one again. ALPA works for ALPA and tells us what's best for us.

The "process" of how this TA was pushed demonstrated a whole host of representational issues and failure of a union to follow its own mandates. Time to do some serious house cleaning or replace this union all together.

Aren't you going to be on the hook for another short call and get the opportunity to fly more hours per month?

Jack just an observation from the outside. I might be way off since am not a Delta pilot but, could it be that they did follow what the other 62% of the pilots wanted? Maybe this is what the results showed. Maybe they saw people were willing to give up some large RJ's for a pay raise. Now once again i am not Delta so I do not know all the info you guys have on this just playing a little devils advocate.

So you wouldn't pick up an extra SC for $2400?

That is not the "mandates" I was referring to.

Block hour ratios would have been nice.....oh wait.... they did put those in there to ensure that mainline pilots get a greater share of the flying. Great job ALPA!!!!

FWIW.... Just spoke with a friend of mine that runs the Crew Outfitters stores and was told that they had been informed that hiring is going to start this fall and not stop... They are one of the main uniform suppliers so, hopefully, this is true....and not at the Heavy RJ providers...
