Boomer, you're priceless. Hope to see you on Virginia Ave soon!

It's a great group of guys, you'll fit right in. Actually, you're probably cooler than most.

The immaturity level spiked up around page 10451 when some ugly orange pixels appeared on the screen.

Didn't stop them from parking 767s straight out of million dollar interior mods (each plane). You know they just did that a couple years ago... And the 88 mods are way cheaper.

Does anyone know if there is an incentive for us to lower the benefit pay out from our Delta provided life insurance? I think my pay out is around $700,000. I thought I read somewhere that we get something upfront in exchange for agreeing to a lower benefit pay out. I couldn't fine it anywhere in the TA/PWA but I didn't feel like digging too deep.

It added revenue producing seats including 2 first class seats. How quick is the return on investment on that? Incidentally, I would say the interior was modified not uprgraded.

As a guy on reserve I am amazed at what my July will look like now. Resv guarantee is already changed from 70 to 80 since ALV is 82 for July in my catagory. I worked pretty hard in Jun and logged only 56 hrs, I'll be amazed if they can wring 80 hrs out of me. That coupled with a 4% raise is pretty big.
I would like to see a comparison of July-July 2012-2013 monthly ALV vs July-July 2011-2012 next Year to see if we really did work harder and if the ALV goes down to not pay resvs as much or if resv is worked hard and the ALV stays high so as to not needing as many pilots.
Also where can I find which bases and jets have reserves over 20% and get the extra day off if ALV drops below 75:00?

And you came back why? Seems to me you left as a somewhat gruff but levelheaded guy willing to actually engage in intelligent debate but came back as a torqued-off, mud-slinging, agenda-driven mouthpiece quick to anger but short on intelligent arguments.

I used to find some value in your posts, but now I pretty much just scan past them. You're quick to accuse others of throwing grenades and running away, yet you fail to realize that you are guilty of the same thing.

Believe it or not, the debate was actually more civil in your absence.

If the cockpits are required to keep the 88s long term then I think that is a far better sign than the interior mods. All I ever hear about the cockpits is theyre still evaluating the ROI, and I think that analysis can now be done.

Besides, they can put the interiors in the 717s.

Aren't the 717s coming from Boeing with new interiors, paint, and wifi equipped? I think they are....
