I hope so. I called and asked a few weeks ago. That is the response I got. If they have found a way to up it, that is better. Any flush after the work rule changes would probably not go over well. (except for me which has expected it for a long time)

As I was told, you could see upwards of 3-400 if it was evenly distributed thoughout all fleets.

80 744A's apparently the number that they are working with today, which is better than a month ago.

I bothered someone that is in the know again today after I posted earlier. They are working on about 80 or so 744A's with the off site training. I would suspect that they would AE about 40-50 slots if they got that many as well.

Anyone flying in DC on Friday night? Or staying there? Or staying there now? Do they have power there?

Quick contract/inverse assignment question?

I checked the PWA on this and either couldnt find it in section 23 or maybe it is not in the new PWA. (new PWA is posted on Deltanet)

Last month I was a lineholder and was given an Inverse Assignment on one of my off days, .....so do they need to give me a payback day for the day I flew?

I checked my icrew and there is no payback day in there that they owe me, but again not sure if they owe me it or not.

Thanks in advance,
P

As a line holder; No payback just double pay.

Most areas in DC have power. Downtown DC didn't even lose power. There are still some spots in VA and MD that are out.

I don't expect any flush whatsoever from the work rule changes, which for the most part don't begin until next summer. The ALV/TLV change is mostly offset by other enhancements in the contract. Then you have to calculate the training inefficiencies as Delta brings more MD90 on board as well as 737-900ERs and 717s. I expect, as the mainline grows, due to increased flying for mainline pilots within the Delta brand, that we'll see more upward mobility for the bottom half of the list, particularly if the slack is taken out of the system through this early out program.

Apologize if this has been posted, but how do you do the GO shuttle from Hartsfield to Virginia Ave? Is that the best way to go, or does the new training hotel have a shuttle that gets you there like before? Thanks.
