Can someone photoshop that picture with a red dress?

I read where the analysts are forecasting around a 27 cent per share loss. The others have been in excess of $1 per share loss or are forecasted to be around that. From a stock standpoint, we'd better hope they're right. Any loss above that would make the analysts and brokers think we aren't managing the merger well and the stock will take a hit. From a company standpoint, we could be looking at losses in the high hundreds of millions of dollars if we miss the estimates.

I'm willing to concede some of the write downs have been due to merger related issues, but the main number we are all interested will be cash on hand. Did it remain the same, increase or go down. Like ACL has said, there is a magic number with cash on hand that we will have to remain above. The good news is we have more cash than the rest.

We need more cash. In reality at least twice what others do, because we are twice the size.

I think that DAL is going to be showing numbers that are not good at all. We hit our 20% decline in yeild. There has been no retreat from that. This is the reason they are working so hard towards SOC. If we are able to get some of these route efficiencies etc, those numbers will look a lot better.

I think that 2Q is not going to be be good at all.

Route efficiencies equal right acft on right routes ASAP after SOC equals training crews immediately after SOC equals doing an pre-SOC postion bid for post-SOC training. Given the expected PRIP results favoring N pilots it would seem at this point an early AE/VD/MD might mitigate expected S displacements as well. Nahhh, makes too much sense.

If the arbitrator hadn't done pull and plug, DAL southies would REALLY be celebrating today. Don't hate the arbitrators because they were fair. ;)

Carl

And from how I understand it, these variances will be filled prior to SOC, that is unless we all agree to a joint bid.

I think that more of the south guys will be bumped than north guys as we move past SOC. Seniority is king, and the fact is that many do not have it for what they are on, or where they are based. It is fair, to everyone except those that will get bumped to a jet and a base they have no desire to be in.

There are plenty of injustices on both sides Carl. Just enough to make it fair. Lets all just give it a rest. I am sure that most will be moderately irked one way or another in two years or so. Just in time for another dance partner.

It lets DAL-guys that would be bumped keep their seats for six months longer. IMHO that is about it. I am in the same camp, of do it once do it right, and lets just get on with it.
