probably has to do with the PRIP?

Professor 07-06-2009 07:39 PM

Guessing it has to do with 10 of something from someplace.

I'll believe it when they are painted with widgets on the tail and at E concourse.

no and that I have no idea. Something more significant. Is ACL flying right now? I'm sure he'll tell all when he gets back on the forum

E Concourse is where they park the big international heavy metal.

Don't tease! I don't think I can take it. :( :(

I sure hope you're right Opus, we could all use some good news. :)

Contracts are unfortunately very complicated animals, and to blanletly state that if you voted for a contract -even if it compromises scope- that you are somehow alright with it is exhibiting a trait that endemic in America... the one issue voter. THAT is why the political parties of today are so polarized left--- right.

I know contracts are complicated animals but I also believe that scope is one of those issues that if it is loosened, I would vote no. I don't care how big the pay raise because as it has been proven, pay can be lost once received. You may not like the idea of giving airplanes away but you are also saying that it is ok as long as other things in the contract make up for it. (pay/work rules) There are plenty of things that I don't like in contract but will accept it if other things are better. I don't know of anything that can't be taken back on the next contract if it turned out to be a mistake to change it, except scope.

Does this have anything to do with the rumor regarding another airline not being able to meet finance obligations on the 15th (rumor I heard more than once on my last trip)?

If so, I will not hold my breath.

capncrunch 07-06-2009 09:29 PM

The build up on the rumor is getting big, I hope it equals the hype.

If this lets me down like Star Wars the phantom menace and the other two craptastic follow ups, I don't think I could take it.

I still want to kick George Lucas in the ba!!s
