Yes, unless the PCS multiplier is 1.5.

I find it interesting that certain viewpoints or discussions, which could in theory start food-fights, are met here with reasoned and measured responses (from both sides), that serve to steer things back to the center.

That tells me there is hope for this merger.

Imagine an East guy telling a (UsAirways) West guy that he "won" SLI. Imagine the response...

It this economy had not tanked half as bad as it had, we would all be moving up with growth and aircraft orders. The scope of this merger should be self evident in the fact that even though we are grossly overstaffed, the company to date, has decided not to furlough(hopefully not this time around), park a fleet(yet), or close a base (yet). I am not saying this is not coming, but to be on year two of this recession and almost to year one post DCC we have done quite well.

In 2011 when we start to truly recover this company has a real chance to shine. It is just stinks that we did not get to see its full potential off the bat.

Question Iphone Delta Crew access

So for all you iPhone people... How well are you able to access Delta iCrew eCrew / check your schedule? I'm on the DC-9 right now so we haven't really hit the time to check out the new system... Would appreciate any info on how it works for ya!

As I put on here and one of our flight ops assistants put in the Trim Tab, Journey works great. It is a 99 cent app and you can make it imitate IE8 or Firefox. Just put three fingers on the screen to bring up the settings and choose one. I chose firefox, and it works great. I have tried both I-crew and Travelnet, and both have worked without too many issues.

You don't need adequate coverage on the picked up trip, just what your dropping.

ACL - What's the multiplier do. I should know but don't.

I don't know, parking the 747-200s and closing ANC seems to qualify.

...and how do you find out what the multiplier is? Do I have to rub some stone at the corner of Virginia and whatever that cross street is? Is staying at the "Not So Comfortable" Inn and Suites sufficient? Is there a clue at Spondivits? What's the code sensei?

Speaking of Iphone. Anyone know the code to receive the Delta discount? I currently receive 15% Air Force discount but the ATT folks on the phone said they had multiple Delta discounts all the way up to 20% (only on the plan and the data plan).
I remember something earlier posted on the DALPA forum but couldn't find it.

Thanks

Read Section 23. My copy has the actual terms on page 245.

Scheduling can put a PCS multiplier of 1.5 on certain categories on a given month if they determine that there will be staffing issues. (December is always a good month for it)

It is normally posted on the "Pilot resources and Scheduling" page. FWIW I have not seen it there, but then again, I have not been looking.

What the multiplier does, is sets a condition for the computer to look at more than adequate reserve coverage to drop or swap a trip. (Simple explanation) It in effect makes it very hard to swap non day to day trips.
