My friends RAW went down 10 points under the same scenario??
On a side note, I read the CVG synopsis and I thought I read that we will have a surplus of over 1300 pilots for Nov. I think we have covered this and I was wondering if my <9000 pilot predictions is going to happen?? I hope not.

Of couse if we do furlough, it will be the European's (or whatever's) fault and the TA will automatically be credited with preventing 1000 additional furloughs that never happened, just like massive DCI growth after 9-11 was credited with mitigating furloughs.
Denny,
As long as you don't mind working holidays and don't get displaced I don't think you'll regret your decision. Since you live in base and there is no such thing as a bad trip in Seattle on the 330 I think you're going to be very happy.
Aside from the downside of occasionally having to fly with Ferd.

Actually that will be a downside for Ferd!
He's gonna have to be my seeing eye FO........I hope he's up to the job!
My anxiousness comes from never having been to an Airbus school on top of not going to a new aircraft school for a looooong time. I'm sure once I get into it, it will go fine. I've had a lot of guys offer their expertise in case I run into questions in training and that will definitely help!

You're right, the priceline guys always did better than me. I just became a creature of habit, I knew the drivers, the desk ladies, had a good time meeting half of Atlas, Evergreen, and Kalitta - they always had well catered parties for any event that was worth gathering for. Pretty nice restaurant choices nearby with a notably great Greek restaurant across the street, a lousy mall a short walk away. Van ride to the train if you wanted to go into the city. etc.
(He neglected to mention the free pound cake, always available at the 5 Towns).

Only got 1 thingto say to your youngest. U- dub!
Thanks Wilbur! I have been keeping my eye on the trips and you're right. I haven't seen any bad ones. Yeah, I live about 30 minutes up 405 on the eastside so sitting reserve is not a problem. Kids are all out of the house now (youngest just started freshman year at WSU) so I'm not that worried about getting holidays off anymore. The displacement, well I cannot do anything about that. If it happens, it happens. I really like the 76/757 so it's really a no loose situation.

I'm jealous.....I grew up out there and would love to get back. Bellevue, Redmond, Kent, Moses Lake, Vancouver. All my flying prior to Dal was the western U.S. and Canada. I get all excited when my maddog see's a real mountain. Navigation was easy, volcanoes on one side and the ocean on the other. We used to go to WSU to pick up mom's and daughters on mom's weekend. Too bad the airport at eastgate and the one in Issaquah are gone. If my wife decides she's had enough of me I'm gonna head west and be the plug in Seattle.

Not only did my raw score go down, but I went from bucket 2 back to bucket 1.

How many arbitrations were there over how long?? And that worked well? How many have we had? I don't think there is much of a comparison.
