Can't stand the Political lectures either, many moons ago when I was on the 73 in LA I had one CA proceed to pontificate about his views on a Candidate...when I foolishly (silly me) disagreed on one of his points....he LITERALLY, no joke....clammed up and didn't say another word until touchdown all the while for a 5hr redeye transcon...lean forward in his seat and stared at the PFD. The only verbal response I got were checklist items. Luckily the next day I brought up a funny C-141 story (I knew he was a former 141 driver)...and it broke the ice. I've never again talked politics at work.

Did he really smell his finger? Gosh, I'd hate to see what they'd find with me if a camera was trained on my face for 1:30.
