fart,
What exactly do you want done? From what I see, whoever posted the notes is lucky 80 and ACL are moderators here. I'm sorry. I'm giggling like a little kid. NewK just asked what "fart" wanted done. I guess fart jokes never get old. ps. If we posted more underboob it would be difficult for Virginia Ave to view this thread. You can't view Jesse's posts in your cubicle without the threat of the sexual harassment panda. https://i.chzbgr.com/completestore/1...Xlp3vj_uQ2.jpg |

I guess he should have said, "Here, pull my finger..." :D |

I dunno, in an ideal world the mods would tell an outside company to pound sand, Delta doesn't own Internet Brands and oughtn't to have any input into what is or is not posted here. That's a tough line to take when several of your senior mods are employed by DL, though. :o.
------- NEWS ALPA Defends Pilot Management sough to discipline Captain Bob Smith after it was learned that Captain Smith placed fourth in this past weekend's celebrity Pro Am Golf Tournament at Bushwood on days that he had called in "sick." ALPA responded, "just think how well Captain Smith would have played if he had not been sick." ------ The pilots who were honest and fessed up to the joke were busted back in status and lost more than a month's pay. Then there is the example below: Wiki_Ellen Simonetti Candidly, I do not understand why some people I've flown with (Flight Attendants) can walk around in uniform with pictures on their bag tags of fully nude men, and we can sponsor speaking engagements for folks like Rich Merritt who uses the platform to talk about his experience as a gay porn star, while on the other hand busting people for posting what appears to me to be a pretty innocent joke. All we know for sure is that what is left of Delta's HR functions don't necessarily think the way we do and "our" management isn't going to stand in the way of they decide to target someone over on the operations side of the Company. That's just the way it is. If a MOD decided to do something to keep me out of hot water, my response is ... THANK YOU. Delta's a great Company to work for. |
Although I originally disagreed with the pulling the LCA meeting post, I don't have a problem with it. I don't see it as the mods being influenced by Delta management, but rather pilots trying to protect other pilots. Nothing nefarious here.

You don't understand Delta, or their resources. We are talking about a company who probably spent $100,000 to find out who wrote the following on a spoof newsletter posted on the bathroom wall of the Atlanta pilot lounge. They used pilots, getting pilot pay, to watch countless hours of video tape to nab who walked into the bathroom holding the spoof article.

Thanks for posting that, it really is a very practical primer for an employee to see where the boundary line is. IMO, it is actually a little blurry. That said, it gives us the opportunity to individually pause, look in the mirror and ask ourselves "do I like my job and do I like my company?" While I saw about what Timbo saw in the LCA notes, I must say, I also (actively) thought to myself that I like Delta and like working for Delta. Now, since DAL knows who we all are, does this mean we do, or do not have to write a rec letter for Boomer?:D |
