I gotta disagree on that. Letting over 100K more people have flight deck access, especially in a job category that is just a few weeks from off the street, especially in a FA in KCM world, is a very, very bad idea. If it comes down to Bolshevik rage (which it will) I'd rather just give FA's one blocked passenger seat per flight in the back they can reserve positive space. There is no way we need to let that many entry level workers into one of the most security sensitive seats in the world just so we can play footsies with their feelings of equality.

Agree. For the same reasons, potentially just weeks off the street with only High school and no job or personal history of reliability to speak of behind them, I am totally against them having KCM access. It's completely different giving access to someone with their hands o. The controls anyways vs folks with potentially only weeks invested.

I support the request, but someone needs to step off the "do it or else" nonsense. You can't win anything that way. There are only varying degrees of losing.

Gloopy, I agree with you here that this is really a pretty tiny issue considering how small we are, how big Delta is, how seldom the FA jumpseat comes in handy, and the fact that most CPZ guys will be over there eventually anyways. And I don't think anyone was making a big issue of it. I didn't see cornbeef's post as a threat or a "do it or else" sort of imperative. He was pointing out that our guys have been going out of our way to help your guys out with their commutes, and we'd love it if you'd do the same for us by spending 3 minutes writing your JSC. It's not a big deal, until you're the guy faced with spending a night at the airport while a plane pushes back with an empty seat.

Malhzahns horrific to the nth degree QB recruits probably did you in, but it's past the point of no return.

Or are you just sniveling?

Nothing like that world-class ALPA arrogance.

Can you believe we're paying this clown FPL to insult us?

Yep. My wife went to Vandy. I'll never hear the end of this.

I'm with you guys. The only thing more stupid is to give the equivalent of KCM to people that are half a step off the street, and aren't even on the airplane. I'm not going to expand, as I think it's pretty obvious. Enough said.

Slow, 80 is nowhere near the douchebag as purple. 80 and you are both respectable bubbas. You both just disagree on a lot of stuff. The middle of the road group enjoys both perspectives. Keep posting and putting up with the insults. We here all need to hear both sides of an argument. Even purple has his place here, albeit on the fringe. Purple, keep it coming. Just try to chill and temper your posts with some stellar underboob.

What? I just applied for a job I saw in the paper. See the world. Fly for free. Become a cat rancher. Bypass security....:rolleyes:

Another thing to consider is it took over a decade and hundreds of thousands of our dues dollars to get this done, and someone with very little skin in the game is likely going to ruin it.
