I don't think there will be any slide in NY at all. No one wants NY except for the people already there. That's why we have '10 hires like me on the ER. I bet people move down in their base before they start commuting to NY.

Maybe. But the Crew Planning did say to expect 7ER FO displacements. Maybe they'll all be in ATL?

I'm tired of training. It'd be nice to actually settle into a category.

I really doubt your going anywhere but a lot of those 10' hires might be leaving the ER up there. I know if I got kicked out of ATL or had to commute to NY I would probably just bid the largest paycheck I could to cover the new crash pad in the hood.

I'll bet money there are at least a few displacements in NYC 7ERB.

Probably won't, but if I slide down too much I may actually have to work. And that's just unacceptable.

The only people getting kicked out of Atl are junior people that will prob stay on whatever equipment they're on. People seem to hate training more than they hate commuting. I still think displacements from the ER will be slim to none. I thought I might get displaced off this last one with all the 320 FO displacements, I didn't move an inch. We should get a pool going.

We'll take the fall in ATL as usual.

Is it for a vacation for February or beyond February? If it is beyond February then use the Vacation Move Up on the Vacation Bids screen.

If it is for February then Set Condition > Vacation Slide....Choose the Vacation you want to slide (in case you have two in one month, it can happen when you get really old like me) ..... then choose the number of days you want to slide the vacation. If your vacation starts on the 8th choosing -4 makes it start on the 4th. Choosing +4 makes it start on the 12th. You can also select a range of days and it will try to use the furthest out slide first and then work back through the range. You can also use the "Else Start Next" to try various slide strategies with different bid groups.

My bet is there will be displacements in every category but the DC9 in ATL.

And I don't mean the sky is falling so we're displacing, expect furloughs, maybe the bubonic plague.

I just think the intent is to staff the 717 in such a way that is 88 MDs and some DC9 AEs and they'll massage it to make that happen. But hopefully I'm wrong.
