With the AE just posted. It looks like you could get ATL on the 88-73 and 67ER. They do not have the 767 program up and running yet, but you will probably see new hires going to it by the end of summer.
Basically you will have a lot of options here. Do you know how the 767ERs out of ATL will be used? Is it all intl or domestic or both?? |
Hornet1...when did you interview? I'm trying to figure out how close I may be to them calling me for a class date.

Got the call
I got the call yesterday afternoon. I'll be in the June 18th class! If anyone else is in the June 18th class, the first round at Spondivits is on me.:D

TipTip35,
The 767ER is nothing but international - Heavy Europe, all Africa and most South America flying. There are rumors that the ER will take over the Hawiian flying from the 767-400 which is considered a different category. They are getting the first of 13 (I believe) 757ER's later this summer that will be used on short haul transatlantic flights (JFK/BOS - West Coast european cities). The 767 domestic includes all 757/767 domestic and carribean and central american flying. There are unbid openings in the latest bid totalling nearly 100 FO positions on the 757/767 domestic and ER categories. As far as gouge goes on the situational questions, just be yourself. If you excercise good critical decision making and command leadership skills you'll have no problem. There are not necessarily right or wrong answers. They just want to see how you process the scenario. For those wanting canned gouge answers - beware. The interviewers know the gouge info on the internet as well as prep services and will spot that a mile away. It can usually kill the interview because then they question if you can actually handle various scenarios that will inevitably come up on the line. Good luck. |
That Atlanta 767ER category is already doing some Hawaii flying via SLC. If you want to fly widebodies internationally, there is plenty of that to be done at this company.
Now if we could just get them to pay us better for doing it. :) |

I interviewed the first of May, the rumor was that they would call you three weeks before your start date which makes sense since they offered me the 18th June class.

I interviewed on May 2...Actually must have met you that day. I was sitting near elevators when the three of you from previous day were there taking your MMPIs. 6 out of 8 got the offer the day I interviewed. I'm assuming if I don't get a call real soon it looks more like the July 2nd class for me.
