Jeff Smisek claimed that integration is harder than it originally appeared. DAL-NWA with all its faults was a benchmark for the industry.

Integration woes help send United Airlines to a loss - USA Today

But he added that the company's "ongoing integration challenges keep us cautious on the shares, despite our positive view on the overall U.S. airline industry."

It kind of seems like a good idea to see the country side as well.
Also the ER's are all lie flats to BRU as well. Both ATL and JFK. I've done the train ride and it's nice.

A question for the gallery, if we are commuting in uniform can we use KCM? I flew with an FO that insisted that we had to screen. I thought that just applied to the ATL cheesegrater.

Q. What constitutes “in uniform” for using a KCM access point?
A. TSA’s requirement is that pilots be “in uniform” to use a KCM access point. This requirement has been used by TSA for years to grant certain accommodations to pilots at security screening checkpoints. Pilots should ensure that they are appropriately attired in a uniform that meets their company’s standards to help TSA screeners do their jobs quickly and expedite their passage through the access point.

Right off the KCM website

The only requirement is to be in uniform. If I'm commuting home, I use KCM since use of the cheese grater for other than company business is prohibited. KCM for me is simpler than the cheese grater (one pass-through vice two, plus no foot shuffle in the grater as you two-step through).

Yep, KCM has nothing to do with Delta or it's "company business" policies for the cheese grater. You ONLY have to be in uniform.

Default The official word...as I was given it

The only requirement, whether commuting or other non-revving, is that you have contact with the TSA personnel and they have the opportunity to search your stuff. When non-revving/commuting the cheese grater doesn't afford them that option directly so it's use is forbidden, officially. KCM gives them that search option so it is allowed, as long as in uniform, as stated previously. Searched out using my union dues by my representatives...
