Ridiculous!

Aggrrrr, just thinking that more than a year of my dues money paid for a picture frame !! ***!!

That's not in the members best interest.

Hurr deee hurr! Most of the membership doesn't want Age 65 but I do!

Maybe they're trying to make the painting like one of those kid books where they can feel the bunny fur? Maybe you'll be able to touch the mustache?

(and that the "bowling shoe" paint job was an under appreciated masterpiece.. and that the front end crew of that flight was making well north of $300/hr collectively....how's that for unwanted "RJ" flying...)

We used to have 197 total DC9 airframes. The DC9 10(78 seats), pictured only numbered about 15, while the rest were -30(100 seats), -40(110 seats) and the -50(125 seats).

I don't know why you'd get an oil painting of yourself when you could just go to Glamour Shots?

The double chin and atrocious comb-over will also take quite a while.

And thankfully, you switched back to hockey! :D

DirectTV is running a trial period on NHL Center Ice. I'm so happy right now! I get to watch 4-5 hockey games a per night! :D

Me too. I would buy the package if it wasn't for this job. I can't justify spending the money when I'm on the road half the time. If you didn't know, I love hockey.

Are you somehow implying that wasting $36k of our money on a painting of Moak is acceptable stewardship of our dues?

NHL Gamecenter through your computer with an IP proxy (to get the local black out game) will get you the same thing. Then just hook your computer to your tv.

The benefit is it also works on your ipad/phone/laptop when on the road. Plus all the games are recorded to watch whenever you want.

When I was at Osan, you could take a photo down to the "ville" and for about $100 they would do an oil painting copy of it in a frame. They did nice work.

Has anyone ever seen this oil painting of LM? Where is it?

I wonder what it looks like? I'm thinking something like this:
