I'll only charge ALPA 20 bucks for a Moak portrait. http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps16095c6c.jpg but I think this is a good meme, we should keep it going. |

Huh? What did I have to search for to get this ad on APC? • $55 ($113 value) for a colon hydrotherapy session and consultation Customized by a certified hydrotherapist with five years of experience, this treatment uses warm water to help flush your body of accumulated debris and waste in the colon. It's just a bidet, on a mission. |

your photo shop skills are inspiring. With MS Paint, I'm just not brave enough to do that.

If you think that's bad, try getting an ad on your email from a colon hydrotherapy session. I looked at that and thought, I know what the colon is. I know why hydro means. I know what therapy is. So, I just had to go look to confirm what it is:

We're talking about ALPA spending $36,000 in member dues money to have an oil paintings made of the presidents of ALPA (including $6,000 framing). It's a complete and total waist of money no matter how you slice it. Nice diversion tactic though.

Are you somehow implying that wasting $36k of our money on a painting of Moak is acceptable stewardship of our dues?

Over the past year he's switched to this kind of rhetoric tactic. Best part is if you end it with a smiley face somehow that fixes things. :D
That being said, spending our dues money on oil paintings is a waste IMO. But until an alternative that I consider to be acceptable comes around, I'm personally sticking with ALPA. |

First of all, no one has proof that a painting of LM cost $36K. The link provided was to DPA's sight(which is an orginization that lacks credibility), and the documents provided were for a Duane Woerth painting. Where is the cost for the other paintings? DPA conviently did not show the cost of any other paintings, and so now people assume every single one cost $36K. Is that not deceitful?
